Along with this, the mantra "Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay" must be chanted while taking a bath. Keep a fast and worship the banana plant by offering water to it. Yellow-coloured clothes should be worn after bathing. After bathing, light a ghee lamp in front of the idol and picture of Lord Vishnu. Offer a small Tulsi leaf along with a yellow flower to Lord Vishnu.A tilak of turmeric, sandalwood, or saffron should be applied on the forehead. According to belief, Shri Vishnu ji likes yellow-coloured things very much. That's why on this day Brahmins should donate yellow-coloured things like gramme dal, fruits, etc.By doing all these things with devotion, life becomes happy, and happiness resides in life.
