How to do Surya worship-
Offer water to Sun God after taking bath daily.
Water should be offered from a copper vessel.
It is auspicious to put roli, red flowers and akshat in water.
While offering Arghya chant "Om Adityaya Namah".
It is believed that salt intake should be kept to a minimum during this month.
Precautions to be taken in Paush month
Nuts and alcohol should not be consumed in the month of Paush. It is better to consume jaggery instead of sugar. Along with this, consuming celery, clove and ginger is beneficial. Apart from this, excessive use of oil and ghee is not good in the month of Paush.
Important thing of Paush month-
Midnight meditation is considered beneficial in this month. Apart from this, donating warm clothes in this month is considered best. Apart from this, wearing red and yellow clothes is considered very auspicious
