Fasting is concluded on Dwadashi Tithi, as it is considered auspicious and holy. Breaking the fast is called Ekadashi Parana. In this way, devotees will be able to cross Ekadashi on Wednesday, 24th August. Aja Ekadashi fasting time is between 5.55 am to 8.30 am on 24th August. Aja Ekadashi fasting method and importance
Each Ekadashi fast lasts for three days
when resolutions are taken by the devotees to observe a strict fast without consuming food and water during the fast. Consumption of all types of grains is avoided during Anand Ekadashi fast.
