Shukra Pradosh fast is being observed today.  Pradosh Vrat is considered to be the best to please Lord Bholenath, so if Pradosh Vrat falls on Friday then it is called Shukra Pradosh Vrat.  By observing the Shukra Pradosh fast, the defects related to the planet Venus are removed.  On this day devotees observe fast according to their capacity.  Some observe a Nirjala fast and some observe a fruit fast.  Today we are going to tell you some important things related to Pradosh Vrat.

In Pradosh Vrat, devotees fast for 24 hours and stay awake throughout the night to meditate on Lord Shiva.  On this day, either Nirjala or Falhar fasting can be observed.  Those who observe a fast on the day after Pradosh Tithi should worship Lord Shiva and break their fast only after offering freshly prepared food to Lord Shiva.  This is the first method of fasting Pradosh, in the second method the devotees keep fast between sunrise and sunset.  In this method, the devotees break their fast by offering hunger to Lord Shiva in the evening after sunset.  Devotees can choose any of these two methods.

Now let us know how to worship Lord Shiva during Pradosh fast.  On the day of Pradosh fast, wake up in the morning, and take bath.  After that, the idol of Lord Shiva should be consecrated with Gangajal and anointed.  Offer things like cannabis, datura, fruits, flowers, cow's milk, etc. to Lord Shankar.  Offer Sattu with ghee and sugar to Lord Shankar, Lord Shiva is soon pleased by this.

Now we know about those things which can be consumed during Pradosh fast.  Those who are observing a fast can consume milk or milk products such as curd, shrikhand or paneer, etc. during the fast.  Along with this, during the fast, Mawa Barfi, Aloo Halwa, Sama's Rice Kheer, Coconut Barfi, Aloo Papad, Banana Chips, Arabic Dry Vegetable, Gourd Vegetable, Watermelon Flour Paratha, Buckwheat Flour  Sattvic things like parathas or sago can be consumed.  When the fast is broken on the next day, eat green moong because green moong is the earth element and keeps the flame calm.

Red chili, grains, rice, and plain salt should be avoided during Pradosh fast.  Those who are observing a fast should not do such a thing as they keep on eating fruits or other things again and again because it makes the mouth false and breaks the fast.  If you are keeping a fast then you must also follow the rules related to it.
However, you can take a light diet once a day.

Those who are observing Nirjala fast are advised to avoid going out in such hot and sunny weather as it will make you thirsty and you may feel dehydrated due to lack of water, which will also make you feel ill.  may worsen.  Those who are observing a fruit fast should consume fruits once a day, those fruits in which the water content is high, and keep drinking water every half an hour so that your health does not deteriorate during this summer season.
