Brahma temple in Pushkar:Know about the only temple where Brahma Ji is worshipped

The three main gods in Hinduism are Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. These three gods are the creator, maintainer and destroyer of the universe. We all worship Vishnu and Mahesh and their temple is also seen everywhere. Many fasts and festivals are also dedicated to these two gods. But have you ever thought that why Brahma ji is not worshipped, he has no temple and neither idol is found in homes. Nor is there any special fast, festival or day dedicated to him. let us tell you that there is only one such temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan where Brahma ji is worshipped. Let us know the reason why there is no worship of Brahma ji, what is the relation of Brahma ji with Pushkar and about the temple of Brahma ji in Pushkar.

Pushkar is called the city of temples. Hindu temples in this place were destroyed by the Mughal rulers. But the temple of Brahma ji remains the same even today. It is said that Pushkar Lake is made of a single lotus leaf of Lord Brahma. For this reason, the recognition of this lake for Hindus increases even more.

This temple was built in the 14th century. It has a beautifully carved silver tortoise set on a marble floor with silver coins donated by various visitors. In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple there is a four-faced idol of Brahma ji with his bride, Gayatri.

This temple is situated on the banks of Pushkar Lake. This temple attracts tourists and devotees every year. It is said that seeing the beauty of Pushkar, Brahma Dev himself had chosen this temple. Therefore Brahma ji has a different relationship with Pushkar. According to ancient texts, Pushkar is the only place in the world where the temple of Brahma is established and this place has been described as the king of holy places for Hindus.

Navratna: their importance and how to harness their power

It was a matter of where the temple is located and when it was built and why it has so many beliefs. Now it comes to whether that is the reason due to which Brahma ji is not worshipped. By the way, many stories are associated with this reason. So tell you what was that curse, due to which Patra Pushkar became the only place on earth where Brahma ji is worshipped. This statement goes as follows: Once upon a time, Brahma ji thought of a yajna on earth for the benefit of the devotees. To choose the place of the yajna, he sent one of his lotuses to the earth and the place where the lotus fell was chosen by Brahma for the yajna.

This place was the Pushkar city of Rajasthan, where a part of that flower had fallen into a pond. After that Brahma ji reached Pushkar to perform the Yagya, but his wife Savitri did not reach on time. The auspicious time of the yagya was passing, but Savitri had no idea. All the deities had reached the place of yagya. In such a situation, Brahma ji revealed Gayatri from the mouth of Nandini cow and married her and started his yagya at an auspicious time. After some time Savitri reached the place of yagya and got angry seeing another woman next to Brahma ji. Savitri cursed Brahma ji that you will not be worshiped anywhere in this earth. Seeing this curse, when all the gods and goddesses requested Savitri, they withdrew the curse and said that only in Pushkar on earth, Brahma ji will be worshipped. Since then this temple has been constructed.
