If you are going to Shani temple then take these 7 precautions or else you will repent
Many people visit the temple of Lord Shani. But according to tradition, it is also necessary to take some precautions and there are many other things which have to be taken care of otherwise it cannot be said when Shani Maharaj gets angry and creates trouble for you. So let’s know the rules of going to Shani temple and seeing them.

1. It is said that in the Shani temple, one should not look at the idol of Lord Shani Dev for a long time by putting his eyes in the eyes. You can have darshan but there should be a feeling of reverence for them.

        2. Oil should be offered to Shani Dev, but keep in mind that the oil should not fall here and there and there is no bad oil. Use good oil. If you are doing shadow donation, then do not offer that oil and keep it at the feet of Shani Dev along with the bowl. 
             
         3.Never worship or pray while standing in front of the idol of Shani Dev. 

          4. If there is any poor, handicapped or beggar outside in Shani temple, then definitely donate to him. If you cannot donate, then at least do not despise them. Be nice to everyone there. 

           5.  Do not do any kind of worldly talks in Shani temple. After silently doing your puja or prayer, sit on the steps of the temple for a while and come back. 

            6. Direction has special significance in the worship of Shani. Shani is considered to be the lord of the west direction, so while worshiping Shani, it has to be kept in mind that your face should be towards the west. That is why go where there is Shani Dev in Shila form. 

7 .It is believed that Shani Dev does not like red color, so red flowers or any red material should not be used in worship on Saturday.
