In Navratri, if the Akhand Jyoti lamp is burning in the house of the devotee of Mother Durga, then keep one thing in mind that the lamp should be kept burning for nine days without extinguishing. Instead of using a cotton wick, use a cotton wick. Keep the lamp in such a place where air and water cannot reach. With the blessings of Maa Durga, the Akhand Jyoti lamp will burn for the whole nine days. Keep pouring ghee or sesame oil in the lamp. Keep increasing the flame of the lamp for some time so that it does not go out.
In the time of Navratri, everyone should light a lamp according to their convenience. Use any lamp, just keep in mind that the lamp is not broken from anywhere. The lamp should never be kept on the ground after lighting it. Always keep the lamp on the plate or post.
You can use a fireplace made of lattice or glass so that the lamp does not go out. Before sleeping at night, sleep only after putting ghee and oil in the lamp. It should not be changed frequently. Because extinguishing the eternal flame is not considered auspicious.
