On this day, there is Saubhagya Yoga till 11:34 in the morning. After that Shobhan Yoga starts.Religiously, both these yogas are considered auspicious. The auspicious time of worship is from 6:14 to 8:32 minutes in the morning and from 1:07 minutes to 3:26 minutes in the afternoon. It will last from 7:12 minutes in the evening to 8:40 minutes in the night.

After this, offer kumkum, sandalwood, perfume, incense, clothes, Kalava, Akshat and Naivedya to the Lord. After this, light a ghee lamp in front of Ganpati and a mustard oil lamp in front of Goddess Lakshmi. Then worship by chanting the mantras of Ganapati and Goddess Lakshmi.
Before chanting the mantra of Goddess Lakshmi, one thing should be noted that chant the mantras of the mother with a lotus garland or crystal garland. After chanting, read Varalakshmi Vrat Katha. Charumati was a great devotee of Goddess Lakshmi and used to observe a fast for the mother every Friday. One day Goddess Lakshmi appeared in her dream and told her that she would go before the full moon in the month of Sawan. Keep Vara lakshmi fast on the coming Friday. Charumati obeyed her Goddess's order and observed her fast. As soon as the fast ended, Charumati's luck turned. Many gold ornaments were adorned on his body and his house was filled with money and grains.Seeing Charumati, other women of the area also started observing this fast. Gradually, the practice of this fast increased in South India and it came to be considered as a fast that provides wealth and food.
