1.According to the scriptures, By lighting a lamp regularly positive energy remains in the house. Goddess Lakshmi is pleased by lighting a lamp at the main door of the house every evening.

The simple meaning of this mantra is that salutations to the light of the lamp, which gives auspiciousness and welfare, gives health and wealth, destroys enemy intelligence.
5.It is believed in the scriptures that by lighting a lamp with chanting of mantras, happiness and prosperity remains in the family.
