As per the Hindu Panchang, every year Shani Jayanti is celebrated on Jyeshtha Amavasya Tithi. This year Shani Jayanti will be celebrated on 10th June 2021. this Jayanti is also known as Shani Amavasya. As per the Religious belief, Shani Dev is the god of justice & was born on the day of Jyeshtha Amavasya. lord, Shani Dev's father is Lord Surya and his Mother is Chhaya. This is considered a very auspicious day for the cure of Shani Dosh. That is why we worship Shani Maharaj on this day devoutly.

Shani Jayanti: puja vidhi
- Wake up early in the morning and take bath & wear clean clothes.
- After taking bath, light a lamp in the temple of your house.
- Then Offer some oil to Shani Dev on this day as it is very significant.
- Then Offer some fresh flowers to Shani Dev.
- After that, offer bhog to Shani Dev & Then Perform aarti.
- One should Recite Shani Chalisa.
- Also, do Chant the mantras of Shani Dev as it is very much important.
- On this auspicious day, reciting Shani Stotra dedicated to Dasharat gives auspicious results.
Perform these measures to get rid of sufferings
1. Light a lamp by putting mustard oil in it, then place it under the Peepal tree on Shani Jayanti.
2. Feed the dog roti or mustard oil paratha.
3. worshiping Hanuman Ji is very significant as lord Hanuman was known to be the best friend of Shani Dev. Apart from worshiping Shani dev on Shani Jayanti, you should also recite Hanuman Chalisa by lighting a lamp on Shani Jayanti.
4. also Offer water to Shivling by pouring black sesame seeds on the day of Shani Jayanti as lord Shani Dev considered Mahadev as his guru. So, by doing this, Shani dev will not harass the one who worships Lord Mahadev.
Chant this mantra for the auspicious results.
· ऊं शं अभयहस्ताय नमः"
· "ऊं शं शनैश्चराय नमः"
· "ऊं नीलांजनसमाभामसं रविपुत्रं यमाग्रजं छायामार्त्तण्डसंभूतं तं नमामि शनैश्चरम"

One should not do this while worshiping Shani dev-
While worshiping Shani Dev, do not maintain eye contact with him. While worshiping perform every ritual with the head bowed down. It is believed that Shani Dev was cursed by his wife, after which his eyesight has become curved. That’s why it is said to not raise or maintain eye contact with him while worshiping as if you do so it can lead to evil in life. Therefore, never do darshan or worship by standing in front of Shani Dev alone or by looking into his eyes.
