Badrinath Temple
In the Hindu religions, The Char Dham Yatra has very special importance. These Yatra include Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath Dham. people from all over the world & especially Hindus in the country want to visit this supernatural shrine. Badrinath temple is located on the banks of the Alaknanda River in the range of the Himalayan Mountains. It is built at an altitude of 3133 meters, the history behind this temple is very old & special. There are many supernatural stories about it. Badrinath temple is built in Kasturi style between the Nar and Narayan mountains. Mainly, it is the temple of Lord Vishnu, here Nar and Narayana are worshiped. The temple is divided into three parts, sanctum sanctorum, darshanamandapa, and sabha mandapa.

the hot water pool is found in Badridham, where taking a bath can remove all your skin-related diseases. The hot water tank is also very hot from the outside one can feel it by touching it. But while taking bath, the water of the pool becomes as high as the temperature of the body. The mainstream of the heated tank has been divided into two parts, there are separate kund made for both men & women. It is believed that this water comes from the hills of Nilakant. Many scientists were failed to solve the mystery behind this hot pond. It is also believed that Lord Badrinath used to meditate here. Today This same holy place is known as Tapta Kund.
It is also believed that the sun god resides in this hot pond “Tapta Kund”. The priests say that Lord Surya Dev had sinned killing bhaksha-bhakshee. Then Lord Narayana asks Surya dev to come here to Badrinath and do meditation. Since then God Narayana distracted Surya Dev in the water form, in which people get relief from all the problems related to their body by bathing. Also, by visiting there & seeing God, one gets freedom from all the sins. Mana village is situated just four kilometers away from the temple, it is said that from this village the heaven of the earth comes out. People also say that by coming here, they get rid of all financial problems. The Ganesh cave, Bhima bridge, Vyas cave is also situated here which have many mythological stories related to them.
