It is said that a person needs three things to survive. Everyone imagines a better and beautiful home where they can live in happiness and peace. Whether the house remains small or big, it should always be built according to Vastu Shastra and special care should be taken of the direction and condition. It has been said in Vastu Shastra that if the Vastu of a person's house is bad, then his progress stops, fights start happening more in his house. Not only this, that person can also have some major disease.

Let us know that according to Vastu Shastra, what are the mistakes that you should avoid while building a house.

1) South direction is considered inauspicious in Vastu Shastra. It is not considered good to have a window in that direction. The reason for this is that in Hinduism, the south direction is considered to be the direction of Yama i.e. the god of death, hence this direction is considered inauspicious. Making a window in this direction has the most effect on the members of the house as there is a lot of negativity in this direction. However, if your house is already built in the south direction and you have to make a window in this direction under compulsion, then you should put a thick white curtain on the south-facing windows, which will reduce the negative effect.

2. If the number of windows and doors is more in the southwest direction of your house, then it is also not considered auspicious. To reduce its inauspiciousness, you can keep an idol of Lord Hanuman in your house. You have to place the idol of Lord Hanuman in such a way that his eyes are facing towards the south.

3) The South West corner of your house should always be full of fronts. It is considered good to keep heavy things in this direction in Vastu Shastra. By doing this you can pacify the planet Rahu.

4) There should not be any bathroom in the South-West direction of your house. Building a bathroom in this direction is considered ‘Pitru Dosh’. For those who have toilets or bathrooms in the southwest direction of their houses, there is always a negative effect of Rahu and ‘Pitru Dosh’ in their homes.

5) One more thing that you should keep in mind while building a house is the room of the owner of the house. It is considered good to keep the room of the owner of the house in the southwest direction. You can also place things like machines or cash counters in this direction. Apart from this, you can make a storeroom and master bedroom in the southwest direction. This direction is also considered as the direction of ancestors.

6) According to Vastu Shastra, you should not keep green-colored plants in the southwest direction. Keeping plants in this direction can give you financial problems. One of the reasons for not keeping plants in this direction is that sufficient sunlight does not reach in this direction.
