Yashoda Jayanti - The name of the mother of Lord Shri Krishna was Yashoda ji, she was the one who took care of Shri Krishna ji and loved him like a real mother. But the eighth incarnation of Lord Shri Vishnu was born in the form of Shri Krishna from the womb of Mother Devaki. Mother Yashoda ji and Shri Krishna ji are worshiped on this day. Worship performed on this day is considered very special for getting children. It is believed that if Mother Yashoda and Shri Krishna are worshiped on this day by following all the rituals, then a child with the image of the child form of Shri Krishna is born.

Why And When Is Yashoda Jayanti Celebrated?
According to the Hindu calendar, the date of Shashthi during the Krishna Paksha in the month of Falgun is celebrated as Yashoda Jayanti. It is said that Mata Yashoda was born in the village of Braj and this festival is celebrated as the birthday of Mother Yashoda.
 
According to the legend, in ancient times, Mother Yashoda did penance to please Lord Vishnu. Pleased with which Shri Vishnu appeared to Mother Yashoda and asked to ask for a boon. Then Mother Yashoda asked the Lord to come to her home. As a result of which Lord took birth in the form of Shri Krishna by Devaki and went to the house of Mother Yashoda. After which Mother Yashoda took care of herself. Therefore, the auspicious occasion of its birth was celebrated as Yashoda Jayanti.
 
Significance Of Yashoda Jayanti In Hinduism
This day is of great importance, on this day the child form Krishna is worshiped while sitting in the lap of Mother Yashoda. It is believed that whoever celebrates Yashoda Jayanti with full faith and worships and worships, he is never deprived of child happiness.
 
On this day in Gokul, this festival is celebrated on a very large scale because Shri Krishna performed his Leela after spending his childhood with Mother Yashoda at this place. According to a belief, by fasting on Yashoda Jayanti and feeding 14 children, children are obtained very soon. Every wish is fulfilled by the worship performed on the day of Yashoda Jayanti.
