Vasudevaya Namah,
then open the hands saying Om Hrishikeshaya Namah and wash the hands after wiping the lips with the root of the thumb.
Get up early in the morning and do daily work and take a bath. Wear red clothes. Clean the place of worship and purify it with Gangajal. Collect all the worship materials and sit on the wool seat facing east. Spread red clothes on the post. Make Ashtadal lotus from red rice. Install the idol of Mangal Dev on it.
First of all do sanctification to purify yourself.
What to eat during fastWhile fasting, you can eat just once before evening. Also, your meal should not include a slight pinch of salt. You are only allowed to eat sweet food or fruits like bananas, or milk as well.
