Baikuntha Chaturdashi has a special significance in Sanatan Dharma. In some places, it is celebrated as Margashirsha Shukla Chaturdashi. Importance of Baikunth Chaturdashi
According to the scriptures, Lord Vishnu rests till Chaturmas by giving the entire workload of creation to Lord Shiva. On this day, both Lord Shiva and Shri Hari Vishnu live in a sudden form. It is believed that on the day of Baikunth Chaturdashi, a person who worships Lord Shri Hari Vishnu with a thousand lotuses, his family attains the world of Baikunth. At the same time, Shradh and Tarpan also have special significance on this day. Let us tell you that on this day after the war of Mahabharata, Lord Krishna had done Shradh for those killed in it.
