 Baikuntha Chaturdashi has a special significance in Sanatan Dharma. In some places, it is celebrated as Margashirsha Shukla Chaturdashi. On this day, the festival of worshiping Lord Baikunthnath and taking out the ride is done by keeping a fast. In such a situation, in this year (2021), this date is falling on Wednesday, November 17. This date is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. According to religious beliefs, any person who worships Shri Hari on this day or observes a fast attains Baikunth Dham.
 
Baikuntha Chaturdashi is considered to be of special importance in the scriptures. According to the Puranas, Lord Shiva gave Sudarshan Chakra to Lord Vishnu on this day. At the same time, some temples have Baikunth gates, which are opened on this day, after which a procession takes place.

It is believed that on the day of Baikunth Chaturdashi, a person who worships Lord Shri Hari Vishnu with a thousand lotuses, his family attains the world of Baikunth. At the same time, Shradh and Tarpan also have special significance on this day. Let us tell you that on this day after the war of Mahabharata, Lord Krishna had done Shradh for those killed in it. This fast of Baikuntha Chaturdashi is a symbol of the mutual unity of Shaivas and Vaishnavas.
