Tuesday April 5 is the fourth day of Navratri. This day is dedicated to Goddess Kushmanda and the fourth form of Maa Durga. According to the scriptures, she is known as Kushmanda Devi because of her smile and giving birth to the universe from her belly. Maa Kushmanda is the symbol of Goddess of Brightness. On the fourth day of Navratri i.e. on 5th April, Preeti Yoga will remain at till 8 am. After this Ayushman Yoga will start. According to the scriptures, Preeti and Ayushman yoga are counted among the auspicious yogas. There is a recognition of getting success in the work done in these yogas.

Maa Kushmanda worship method
- First of all retire from bath etc.
- After this, after meditating on Maa Kushmanda, offer her incense, scent, intact, red flowers white potpourri, fruits, dry fruits and good luck.
- After this, offer halwa and curd to mother Kushmanda. You can then take it as prasad.
- Take maximum care of mother.
- At the end of the puja, perform aarti of the mother.
