Pradosh Vrat 2021 Ashadha Shukla Paksha July: Pradosh Vrat holds a special place in Hinduism. Pradosh Vrat is a fast of worship of Shiva, as there are two Ekadashi Tithis in every month and it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In the same way, there are two Pradosh fasts in every month which falls on every Trayodashi. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
According to the Hindi calendar, both Ekadashi and Pradosh dates are related to the phases of the moon. Pradosh Vrat is observed on the Trayodashi of Krishna and Shukla Paksha of every month. By observing this fast, the defects of the moon planet are removed. Children get happiness.

When is the Pradosh fast of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month?
The Trayodashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month will start from 4:6 pm on Wednesday, July 21, till 1.32 pm on the next day, July 22. Since the timing of Pradosh Kaal is from 07:18 PM to 09:22 PM on 21st July. Therefore, Pradosh Vrat will be kept on 21st July.
Pradosh Vrat Puja Method
On the day of Pradosh fast, wake up early in the morning and wear clean clothes after taking bath etc. If you want to keep Pradosh fast, then take a vow of fasting at the place of worship. After this, do Jalabhishek to Lord Shiva with Gangajal. Light the lamp and offer flowers and other worship materials. If you worship Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha along with Bholenath on this day, then it will be very good. Perform aarti to Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. In the end, distribute Prasad.
