Story of Vishwakarma
It is referenced in the Puranas that this whole universe was made by Vishwakarma. The earth, sky and water have been made by Vishwakarma. It is told in Vishwakarma Purana that Narayan ji previously made Brahma ji and afterward Vishwakarma ji. Weapons and utensils were made by Vishwakarma only. It was Lord Vishwakarma who fabricated Lanka. It is said that Lord Shiva considered structure a castle for Mother Parvati and gave over the obligation to Lord Vishwakarma. Then, at that point he constructed a castle of gold. Ravana was called to adore this castle. In any case, Ravana was so captivated seeing the castle that he requested the royal residence itself as Dakshina. Ruler Shiva himself went to Mount Kailash subsequent to surrendering the castle to Ravana. Aside from this, Vishwakarma had assembled Indraprastha city for Pandavas, Hastinapur for Kauravas and Dwarka for Lord Shri Krishna.

In the worship of Lord Vishwakarma, one should chant the mantras ‘Om Aadhar Shaktipe Namah and Om Kumayi Namah’, ‘Om Anantham Namah’, ‘Prithivai Namah’. It is good to chant with Rudraksh rosary.
