According to the Hindu calendar, the fifth month is called Sawan month. Which is also known as Sawan month. The whole month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Every Monday has its own importance. This time the month of Ashadh is ending from 24th July and Sawan month is starting from 25th July which will continue till 22nd August. During this, there are going to be a total of 4 Mondays. When is Sawan Shivratri?
Sawan Shivratri fast will be observed on Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Sawan month. This time Sawan Shivratri fast is falling on 6th August 2021, Friday.
Sawan Shivratri Puja Method
On Chaturdashi Tithi, get up early in the morning and take bath. Than Install the idol of Lord Shiva and take a vow. Light incense, lamp in front of Bholenath and Chant the mantras of Shiva Shambhu. Offer them 1001 Bel leave and also Do Rudrabhishek with water or milk, curd than Offer sweets made from datura, cannabis, jaggery, pua, pudding, milk.
