So there Hanuman Ji is also offered a vermilion Chola. But what is the reason behind this? Why is vermilion so dear to Hanuman Ji? Why do they get pleased quickly by offering vermilion and blessing their devotees with happiness and prosperity?

Actually, a mythological story is mentioned behind it, due to which vermilion is applied all over the body of Hanuman Ji. In this report, we are going to tell you the same story.

  • Because of this, Hanuman Ji loves vermilion

The legend of why Bajrangbali likes vermilion so much is related to the Treta Yuga, according to which Mother Sita also used to apply vermilion in the Treta Yuga. It is said that once Mother Sita was filling vermilion in her demand. Then Hanuman JI saw Mata Sita applying vermilion on-demand and asked that why do you apply vermilion, O mother? In response to this question, Mother Sita says that she applies vermilion on-demand to wish her lord Shri Ram long life and good health.

  • The importance of vermilion has been told in the scriptures

The special importance of vermilion has also been told in the scriptures present in Hinduism. According to which the married should apply vermilion. By applying vermilion in the demand, the husband's age increases. And his health is also good.

  • Hanuman Ji thought of applying vermilion all over his body

When Hanuman Ji heard this talk of Mother Sita, he thought that when there is so much benefit of applying a little vermilion, then he would apply vermilion all over the body. This will make their lord immortal. For this reason, Hanuman Ji started applying vermilion all over his body. And from this, the tradition of offering vermilion to Hanumanji started. If on every Tuesday, Tulsi leaves are offered with vermilion written on Shri Ram at the feet of Hanuman Ji, then its best results are obtained.

The tradition of applying vermilion is going on for a long time. Mother Sita also used to apply sindoor in Treta Yuga. According to the legend, once Mother Sita was filling vermilion in her demand. When Hanuman ji saw Mata Sita applying vermilion in the demand, he asked out of curiosity, that o mother why do you apply vermilion in your demand? In response to this question, Mother Sita tells Hanumanji that she applies vermilion in demand for the long life and good health of her master, husband Shri Ram. The importance of vermilion has also been told in the scriptures. According to which, whoever applies vermilion in the demand of a married woman, her husband's age increases and his health remains good.

Hanuman ji loves his adorable god Lord Shri Ram very much. Therefore, listening to the words of Mother Sita, Hanuman ji thought that when there is so much benefit of applying a little vermilion, then he will apply vermilion all over the body. This will make my adorable Shri Ram immortal forever. Thinking this, he applied vermilion all over his body. Since then the tradition of offering vermilion to Hanumanji started. That is why Hanuman ji is very happy by offering vermilion.
