What is Brahma Muhurta? mantra, meditation

Brahma Muhurta comes before sunrise, which is considered a very auspicious time for attaining knowledge by giving up sleep. The fourth prahar of the night is called Brahma Muhurta. Brahma Muhurta and Vishnu Muhurta come before sunrise in which sages have been starting their day by waking up early in the morning at Brahma Muhurta.
 
Brahma Muhurta begins only after the end of the 30th part of the twenty-four hours, that is, the last prahar of the night. This Kalakhand Muhurta can be of 48 minutes or up to two hours. In ancient times days were counted on the basis of sunrise. Therefore, according to the present time, the period of time during most of the festivals starts before the date of the festival. Similarly, depending on the present time, the timing of Brahma Muhurta starts at 4:24 in the morning and ends at 5.12 am. If one sleeps in this Muhurta, then the virtues done by him keep getting destroyed.
 
 
 
Sadhana of Brahma Muhurta
 
In this Muhurta, our ancestors have been doing spiritual practice for a long time during this Muhurta period, which we get to see in the Puranas and texts also. Valmiki also describes the recitation of Veda mantras by Sita in the Ashoka Vatika in the Ramayana. From which it becomes clear that the sadhana done at this time is the best in the whole day. According to the Vedas one should defecate and take bath before sunrise. After that one should engage in sadhana. The positive energy received during this time helps to concentrate in meditation and keep bad thoughts away from the mind. But there are some mantras in Sanatan Dharma which should be recited as soon as you wake up in the morning without taking a bath. By chanting these mantras daily, one's luck shines and positive energy flows in the body. So let us also know about two of these important mantras and what we should do while chanting the mantra.
 
As soon as we wake up in the morning, keeping our hands in front of the face, looking at the palms, we should chant the mantra given below.
 
 
 
“Om karagre vasate vasate lakshmi: kar madhe saraswati.
 
Kar mulayah tu govindah prabhaate kardarshanam.
 
 
 
After chanting this mantra, your hand should be applied on your face and eyes. It is believed that gods and goddesses reside in our hands and thus we get to see them.
 
Brahma Muhurta or any time when you wake up, you can remove your misfortune by using the mantra given below. One has to sit and close the eyes while chanting this mantra.
